A single crazy, double or triple when you consider that I have yet to read the second and third volumes (Dark Dark Passion and Pleasure) I do not know with what courage dare start. Non ho capito bene se i cento colpi del titolo si riferiscono davvero alla spazzola o piuttosto alle botte che danno alla protagonista...Battuta squallida a parte, questo romanzo pseudo autobiografico della scrittrice catanese Melissa Panarello (aka Melissa P.) more than anything to be read in context, that is, thinking that it was written by a girl who at the time of writing was 17 years or less.

For a debut novel there are all the faults of inexperience, all the inconsistencies, but now that Melissa P has grown more mature and I expect evidence I intend to read his later novels to judge objectively his style. I follow his blog with interest and I know that she knows how to write, in the sense that he knows the Italian language, its grammar and syntax, but not enough to make a writer. It also takes that certain je ne sais pas quoi I do not know if I can to give a good idea, it takes an idea, an ideal, and the irrepressible desire to communicate something to the world. Forse da una diciassettenne sarebbe stato pretendere troppo e questo suo primo romanzo è quel che è: un diario di una ragazzina pieno di autocompiacimento per se stessa e il suo corpo e il desiderio che suscita negli altri.

Prodotto da Francesca Neri e Claudio Amendola, Melissa P si ispira molto liberamente al romanzo di Melissa Panarello, talmente liberamente che la stessa scrittrice ne ha polemicamente preso le distanze, sostenendo che la pellicola di Luca Guadagnino non rispecchiava la natura del romanzo, a cominciare dal titolo: infatti Melissa P sembra voglia raccontare più la storia della scrittrice che non del suo personaggio e questo deve averla infastidita non poco. 

Comunque, polemiche a parte, il film di Guadagnino è esteticamente valid and is one of the few cases in which the film is more successful of the novel from which it is drawn. The heroine is played by Melissa Young English actress Maria Valverde, flanked by a sacred monster of the cinema as Geraldine Chaplin (who plays the eccentric grandmother) and the cream of Italian drama, including Primo Reggiani, Elio Germano, Claudio Santamaria and Alba ; Rohrwacher. As I said the film is only loosely based on the novel and though it differs a lot: the main character lives with his mother and grandmother while her father works on a platform in the Indian Ocean, that the book does not mention that the family briefly. In the film's first love Melissa, Daniele (Primo Reggiani) is a fundamental character that appears to the end, while in the novel is cleared after a few pages. He missed the scene where Melissa attends the homosexual, lesbian relationship is missing, the story of the missing math professor with whom Melissa plays the Lolita. It remains the scene where Melissa goes with 5 guys at once and that the encounter with the man in the chat. The scene of the custodian of the museum seems to be added by the director. The film insists on the fact that Melissa is a high school student, while in the novel, the author briefly mentions it, almost like an insignificant detail, but the real difference between the book and the novel seems to lie in the relationship between the two Melissa women his life, his mother and grandmother, in-depth film, non-existent in the novel. The explicit sexual content of the novel is slightly sweetened in the film, rather it is just suggested and that is why I am surprised that the film has been labeled as an erotic film. Melissa P Overall I liked it, and certainly the best I have found the novel. Two curiosities: the first is that Guadagnino has directed several music videos of Elisa (Asile's world, Light, Broken) and chose Swan, the main theme of the soundtrack of his film. The latest effort from Danny Boyle's well-received six Oscar nominations. I was wondering what was wrong this film so special to deserve all these applications and the answer is James Franco, who here is truly extraordinary. The film is based on the true story of an American mountaineer, Aaron Ralston, trapped in a Utah canyon for five days and forced to amputate his arm to be able to leave and survive. The film is based sull'autobiografia Ralston ( Between a rock and a hard place ) and runs through the most dramatic moments of the accident, including memories, hallucinations and premonitions. I must confess to being a person particularly impressed that I could not help but look away during the climax scene, when Ralston amputated his arm is proving to have two balls as big as the rock that kept him imprisoned. Franco is immensely good because here alone can keep alive the attention of the viewer without being less tension. With him are in that canyon, we feel the same sense of discomfort, the same despair, the same lucid madness and no matter that almost nothing happens for an hour and a half and who is completely immobilized, not get bored. From start to finish is still holding its breath, wondering if he would make it or not. The best scene? Ralston speaks to one in which his camera pretending to be host of a talk show. I liked it, but honestly I would not have ever given an Oscar for Best Picture.
